If you break the word down, you'll see that "kiri" is the Japanese way of saying "kilo"--the metric word for 1000. "ban," when using the kanji 番, is the Japanese word for "number." by Urban Dictionary
Kiriban therefore, is the thousandth number, and is generally used as a view counts landmark. However, we are going to use it a bit differently, we'll use it for posts.
Kiriban milestones: 2000 total posts, 3000 total posts, 4000 total posts ... every thousandth number.
You can see the total posts on the main page. Currently 2000th post is approaching.
Have the 2000th (later on 3000th, 4000th ... etc.) post on the forum and win!
How to prove you won? At the top right corner of each post you can see a #number.
Click on it and you'll get a link to your post.
At the end of the link you can see the number of your post.
(There's a little difference btw. the number in the link of your post and in the total posts due to some deleted posts, but of course, the one in yours the one that counts.  )
