He has drawn live from the Venice Art Biennale, the Olympic Games in London, The 2012 Republican Convention and he has sketched the New York City Marathon — while actually running it.
Niemann is the author of many books. His new books  “Sunday Sketching” and WORDS will be published in September 2016. His latest project is an interactive, animated app called CHOMP.
In 2010, he was inducted into the Art Directors Club Hall Of Fame. His work is currently exhibited in a solo show at the Museum of Applied Arts in Hamburg.
